HOUSE LEAGUES
Every summer SYBL organizes 3 Shaker Heights-based "House Leagues" which are organized by grade:
Minor League - for players completing 3rd and 4th grade
Major League - for players completing 5th and 6th grade
Senior League - for players completing 7th through 10th grade
Each league has between 6 and 12 teams. Teams typically play 15-20 games on fields in Shaker Heights. The season takes place between Memorial Day and the end of July. Sign ups take place in March with teams formed at the end of April. Download 2013 Registration form below.

TRAVEL LEAGUES
Travel Teams for the 2013 Spring/Summer season have been selected.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Travel Teams participate in the Great Lakes Baseball League or the Buckeye Baseball League and compete against teams from other communities . These teams typically play in several tournaments as well, including some outside the Cleveland area. Teams are selected based on try-outs in the late summer and fall for the following year and practice occasionally througout the winter. Teams are made up primaily of Shaker residents, but can include a few players from surrounding areas as well. Age cut-offs are based on a player's age as of May 1st of the year involved.
